History of Company

L.J. Walters Insurance Brokers Ltd., has been in business since 1981. The company was owned and operated by Lloyd J. Walters for over 30 years. Since 2012, L.J. Walters Insurance Brokers Ltd., has been owned and operated by Lloyd’s daughter Susan L. Guarasci.

Our team

Lloyd was the owner of the brokerage for 30 years and is now enjoying retirement, spending time travelling. He has gained much experience and knowledge over the years and has come to understand the trends that the insurance industry goes through. Lloyd is a life long resident of the Welland area. He currently is a member of the Rotary Club of Welland.

LLOYD J. WALTERS

Lloyd was the owner of the brokerage for 30 years and is now enjoying retirement, spending time travelling. He currently is a member of the Rotary Club of Welland.
Susan has been in the insurance business since 1994. After working alongside her father and learning from his experience and knowledge, she became owner of the brokerage in 2012. Susan has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Windsor, a Business Administration Marketing Diploma from St. Clair College and her Canadian Accredited Insurance Brokers Designation. Susan resides in Welland with her husband and is a proud “Hockey Mom” for her 3 girls. She currently sits on the Niagara South Insurance Brokers Association Executive and is the President of the St. Catharines Female Hockey Association.

SUSAN L. GUARASCI

Susan has been in the insurance business since 1994. After working alongside her father and learning from his experience and knowledge, she became owner of the brokerage in 2012. Andy has been a producer with L.J. Walters Insurance since 2000 and in the insurance industry for over 30 years. He has extensive knowledge of all lines of insurance including home, auto and commercial. Andy lives in Welland with his wife and 2 children. He is a member of the Optimist Club of Welland and sits on the Board of Directors of both Niagara South Insurance Brokers Association and ND Family.

Pam started with us in 2004 as a Customer Service Representative. She has worked in the insurance industry since 1989. She has brought excellent knowledge and experience to our office. Pam is always willing to go that little bit extra for her clients. Pam is married and currently resides in Wainfleet with her husband.

Francine has been with L.J. Walters Insurance Brokers Ltd as a Customer Service Representative since 2005. Francine’s friendly personality along with her excellent customer service skills make her a perfect choice to handle all your personal insurance needs. She is also fully bilingual. Fran currently lives in Welland with her daughter.
